Hello, I’m Gabi!
I’m a YA author with a focus on fantasy and horror. Currently I’m querying a YA Dark Fantasy project with a strong, morally gray feminine main character. You can find the other projects I have in the works a few sections below.
When I’m not writing, you can find me creating art, learning to play the harp, taking care of my three rabbits (AKA my writing assistants), and collecting antiques. For my day job, I work as a graphic designer at one of the top children’s hospitals in the country.
Hippity Hoppity Writing Assistants
Penelope provides support throughout the writing process, offering kisses during spurs of writer’s block. She is always available for pets to help alleviate any tension the writing process brings.
When she isn’t working, she loves lounging on her blankets, running through tunnels, and eating sweets.
Sophie makes sure that there are always snacks and sweets available during writing sessions. A sweet connoisseur, she knows exactly what goodies help with writer’s block.
When she isn’t working, she’s getting the zoomies, chewing on things she shouldn’t, and licking everything in sight.
Dusty also specializes in support throughout the writing process. Built like a furry pillow, he gives the best hugs and (despite his very sassy attitude) can help when the writing process gets tough.
When he isn’t working, he is sleeping, sleeping some more, and eating.

Purely Wicked Souls is a Young Adult Dark Fantasy finished at 95K words.
Light reigns over the Trenan Isles, shunning those of darkness into the shadows. Eighteen-year-old Mara Draven has been dreaming of destroying the light reign with her sister Amalie. When Amalie is murdered by the Madeners—the crew who murdered Mara’s parents—Mara and her crew set out to resurrect her. To do so, they need three things: a piece of her sister’s body, the Chaos Dagger, and someone with a pure soul to sacrifice.
A pure soul who Mara begins falling for.
As desires unravel, Mara struggles to focus on resurrecting her sister. But which call is stronger: Mara’s ache for Amalie, or the growing fondness for her pure soul? Mara will have to make an impossible decision: leaving her sister dead for potential love, or having a piece of her family back and killing the first boy she fell for.
